NOTES & CONDITIONS
These rates are for two people - add $50 per night for each extra person included at time of booking.
The apartment sleeps up to four people. All linen, towels, cutlery, crockery, glasses etc. are provided.
(*) Special - during the months of May to August inclusive, pay for 2 nights and get a third night free. Applies to 2 people; add $50 per night for each extra person. Includes all holiday weekends except Easter. Maximum 3 free nights.
From mid-December until mid-January, the minimum booking is for 7 nights. (This may be negotiable depending on availability - please enquire).
For all other times, the minimum booking is for 2 nights.
We do not normally offer single-night stays, but in some circumstances we may consider a single-night stay, with a surcharge of $75 over the standard 2-person tariff.
We can offer attractive discounts from the above rates for extended period bookings. Please enquire.
Check In & Check Out Times:
Earliest Check-in time is 2:30pm. Latest Check-out time is 11:00am. A later Check-out time may sometimes be possible, and there may be a small surcharge. Please enquire.
Booking Deposits & Cancellations:
A deposit equal to the full rate for two nights is required with booking confirmation.
Please note that we can only offer refunds on cancellation or alteration of booking if advised at least one week in advance for Low Season bookings - or at least one month in advance for High or Shoulder Season bookings. The remaining balance of the tariff - if any - will be charged to the guests' credit card around one to two weeks prior to the booked arrival date. A surcharge of 3% is added to payments made by credit or debit card. There is no surcharge for payments made by direct credit or via online banking. Any deposit paid for a booking later rescheduled to a different date is 100% transferable.
COVID-19: these conditions will be relaxed so that in the event of a cancellation caused by a complete or partial compulsory COVID-19 travel restriction, provided the cancellation has been notified to us prior to the booked arrival date, we will refund the deposit paid - i.e. the tariff for two nights. If the booking is able to be rescheduled to another date, the full deposit paid will be transferred to the new booking date without any deduction.
We prefer not to book children under the age of 12 years in the upstairs apartment.
Parents are responsible for the safety and behaviour of their children.
We may require a bond for bookings which include children, which will be refunded after the
stay, provided that there is no damage or excessive cleaning.
The cost of any loss, damage or excessive cleaning will be charged to the Guest's account.
Please note that Saltwater Lodge is smoke-free, and we do not allow pets.
